The problems and solutions listed below only apply to past versions of GMod, Steam or HL2. If one of the problems below occurs, updating all 3 programs may fix the issue. Problem: White diagonal line on screen
As of the recent HDR source engine update the game handles shaders differently, which is causing some minor graphical glitches when displaying bloom on Garry's Mod.
To fix this simply turn the 'Bloom' effect off. The option can be changed using the Spawn Menu under the post-processing section, or alternatively by entering 'pp_bloom 0' in the console.
